Our journey began when we traveled to the Yucatan Peninsula to learn how to make this delicious Marquesita dessert. We were privileged to have the opportunity to learn from the best, a true artisan that has been in the business for fifteen years. While learning how to make Marquesitas, we quickly discovered that it truly requires an artisan´s skills to make them well. It´s not as easy as it looks!
